The ada cluster environment offers a suite of software packages that are installed in a variety of ways. The differences in installation procedure may affect how a user interacts with these software packages.

Since not all software is installed directly onto each node, a modular software environment provides much scientific software for users of the ada cluster environment. Our modular software environment is provided by Lmod.
Lmod modules modify your current BASH session to provide access to the software associated with any available software. See more by reading the page on modules or by running commands in the module suite from ada
As with all software available in the ada cluster environment, there is only limited user-support provided by the system administrators except as specifically noted.
