In order to optimize the particle therapy treatment, in particular, proton therapy it is required to perform the sensitive analysis on topics such as particle range uncertainties, dose calculations, organ cavity filling layers, image guidance, etc. In the present proposal, this investigation will be done using the Geant4 toolkit which provide high precision results. Nevertheless, in proton therapy, the proton ionization and nuclear scattering constitute the main features of the energy distribution. Also, processes concerning electrons can be worth that may influence the final dose values, range of ion in material, therefore, approximation based on Physics processes, generation of secondaries, its timing are important ingredients to improve the performance of the numerical Analysis.

This study will investigate the emission of secondary gamma during the proton therapy for range/dose verification purpose. Geant4 Monte-Carlo system in multi-threaded system will be used for this study.
